Description: Located in the Western Cape of South Africa, Walker Bay provides a stunning backdrop for unforgettable moments. Renowned for its exceptional whale watching opportunities, the bay attracts visitors from all over the world. From June to November, humpback whales and southern right whales can be spotted coming close to the shore. During numerous stays in this region, I was regularly awakened by the majestic whales passing by right outside my window. Walker Bay captivates with not only its marine visitors, but also with a diverse fauna and flora that adorn both the hinterland and the coast. A special highlight are the breathtaking sunsets that paint the sky in the most beautiful colors.
