Description: The Great Sphinx of Giza, also known as the Sphinx of Giza, is one of the most fascinating and mysterious monuments of the ancient world. This statue of a reclining lion with a human head is located near the Chephren Pyramid and dates back to ancient Egypt. Measuring 73.5 meters in length and approximately 20 meters in height, the Sphinx looms majestically from the sands of the Egyptian desert. Despite centuries of study, its origins and purpose continue to puzzle researchers to this day.
