Description: The Threadfin butterflyfish (Chaetodon auriga) is a fascinating reef-dwelling species known for its behavior of feeding on jellyfish. This beautiful creature can reach a length of up to 18 cm and inhabits coral reefs at depths ranging from 5-40 meters. There are two subspecies of the Threadfin butterflyfish, one in the Red Sea and the other in the Indian Ocean.
