Description: The Red Sea Bannerfish, also known as Heniochus intermedius, is a captivating species from the butterflyfish family that inhabits the colorful reefs of Ras Mohammad in the Red Sea. These diurnal fish feed on zooplankton and are commonly seen in pairs during the late afternoon. With their yellow pectoral fins, tail fin, anal fin, and the posterior soft-rayed portion of the dorsal fin, they are truly a sight to behold. An adult specimen can reach a length of up to 20 cm.
