Description: The Common bigeye, also known as Gewöhnlicher Großaugenbarsch or scientifically as Priacanthus hamrur, is a fascinating marine creature. These fish form small schools and prefer to stay under light-protected coral overhangs. At sunset, they venture out to hunt for small fish or crustaceans, only to return safely to their shelters at sunrise. Equipped with large eyes, they have excellent night vision.
