Description: The South African Fur Seals (Arctocephalus pusillus) live in a large colony of approximately 60,000 animals on the rocky island of Geyser Rock near Dyer Island. These fascinating marine mammals are impressive creatures both on land and underwater. Diving up to 50 meters deep and with an astonishing dive duration of up to five minutes, they are always on the move in search of food.
