Description: In the picturesque Beqa Lagoon in the Fiji Islands, a fascinating research project was launched in 2004 to study the migratory behavior of bull sharks (Carcharhinus leucas). The renowned biologist Dr. Juerg Brunnschweiler leads the Shark Fin Reef marine reserve and collaborates closely with the initiator of the shark protection zone project, Mike Neumann. The use of acoustic transmitters allows for a more detailed tracking of bull sharks' movement patterns in the reef, providing valuable insights into their behavior.
