Bull Shark with baitfish

Description: The bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas), also known as the Zambezi shark, is a dangerous shark species found in tropical waters worldwide. One of its most remarkable features is its ability to survive in freshwater. Measuring up to 350 cm in length and weighing around 230 kg, it is among the heavier shark species. From lakes and rivers in Africa to those in Central and South America, the bull shark's natural habitat spans a wide range. Bull sharks have a low flight distance and approach divers with confidence. Their diet includes molluscs, rays, crustaceans, bony fish, and even other sharks.
