Great White Sharks are patrolling close to the deep water off Seal Island near Cape Town. Like a rocket they shoot out of the water, to hunt fur seals swimming on the water surface. (00010255)

Description: Great White Shark/Carcharodon carcharias. It is afternoon. In a short distance there is Seal Island with a South African Fur Seal colony Ilevelled my camera at Koekie, the artificial neoprene seal decoy, and the boat is moving along. For hours. Suddenly, a huge and very heavy body is rocketing out of the water like a torpedo. It has “Koekie” in its mouth. Everything happens in a split second. We just watched the attack of a Great White Shark, carried out with the utmost precision.
