With a length of over six meters and weighing up to 3.1 tons, it is one of the largest shark species. Its distinctive striped pattern and broad head make it unmistakable. Tiger Sharks are considered dangerous, especially in tropical waters. With their wide mouths and powerful jaw muscles, they can even crack the shells of sea turtles. Their diet ranges from sea turtles to seals and other sharks. This impressive specimen was photographed in the Beqa Lagoon off the coast of Vitu Levu in Fiji.
