Baby Great White Shark hunting

Description: The Baby Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is only a few days old and already on the hunt. This fascinating predator is seen moving six sea miles off the coast of Gansbaai, near Dyer Island and Gyser Rock. Great White Sharks are born fully developed and must immediately fend for themselves. Their primary diet consists of small fish and squids. Pups are extremely cautious and prefer to retreat when encountering an adult shark. Only a few baby Great White Sharks survive their first year and reach adulthood.
