Baby Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) discovers the underwater world (00010435)

Description: The Baby Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) curiously explores the endless expanses of the ocean. Just a few days old, it swims near the coast of Gansbaai and the islands of Dyer Island and Gyser Rock. Great White Sharks are fully developed and independent from birth. The pup's diet mainly consists of small fish and squids. Despite their caution, only a few pups manage to reach adulthood.
