Description: Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) - Baby Great White Shark looks critically. Six sea miles from the coast of Gansbaai, quite close to Dyer Island and Gyser Rock, a few days old Great White Shark is spotted moving close to the water surface. Baby Great White Sharks are already fully developed and independent from birth, measuring 1.10 to 1.50 meters in length. Their diet mainly consists of small fish and squids. Pups like this little Great White Shark are extremely cautious and quickly flee at the sight of an adult shark. Only a few make it to adulthood.
