Description: A majestic gray reef shark (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) gracefully swims in the deep blue, crystal clear waters off Shark Reef in the Beqa Lagoon on Vitu Levu. This fascinating shark, with its gray base color and distinctive black trim on the tail fin, can reach a maximum length of about 250 cm. The gray reef shark primarily feeds on reef fish, cephalopods, and crustaceans and is a common sight at the stunning coral reefs of the area.
