Description: The whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) is a fascinating inhabitant of the oceans, with a gray-brown coloration and a maximum length of about 200 cm. Its distinctive white tips on the first dorsal fin and the tail fin make it unmistakable. Whitetip reef sharks mainly feed on bony fishes living on the reef and are commonly found in the waters of the South Pacific.
