Description: The rainforest of Viti Levu, Fiji, is a breathtaking place where red flowers glow amidst the lush greenery. Approximately 40 percent of Fiji's land area is covered by rainforest, especially on the rainy southeastern side. Here, a variety of plants thrive, including orchids, hibiscus, bamboo, ferns, mangroves, palms, mosses, and vines. The rainforest is a unique ecosystem with no unused niches. It is the most biologically complex place on earth and harbors the majority of climbing plants in the world.
