Description: The rainforest of Fiji is a fascinating place, covering around 40 percent of the island's land area. Especially in the rainy southeastern part, a variety of plants such as orchids, hibiscus, bamboo, ferns, mangroves, and palms thrive. This habitat is rich in biodiversity and leaves no room for unused niches. There is no other place on earth as biologically complex as the rainforest.
