Description: The shell ginger, scientifically known as Alpinia zerumbet, is an exotic plant with impressive inflorescences. These can grow up to 40 cm long and hang gracefully. The panicles are adorned with waxy buds, from which beautiful white flowers with yellow lips emerge, shimmering pink or red at the tips.
