Description: The African wild dog, also known as Lycaon pictus, is a fascinating predator with a unique spotted coat. This image captures African wild dogs puppies playing under captivity. The puppies are initially black with irregular white markings, later developing shades of yellow-brown. Adult African wild dogs live in packs and inhabit the savannas of Africa. Unfortunately, they are critically endangered and can mostly be found in large wildlife reserves.
