Description: The bluespotted ribbontail stingray (Taeniura lymma) is a fascinating creature that moves elegantly over the bright sand of a coral reef. Its ochre upper side with the bright blue spots and the golden shimmering eyes make it a true masterpiece of nature. This breathtaking creature feeds on shrimps, worms, and hermit crabs and is equipped with two poisonous spines at the tail end.
