Description: The crane barge with split barge in action at Ras el Tin Harbor in Alexandria, Egypt. The removable measuring rods clearly indicate the position of the leveling frames, crucial for the crane operator. The 15-meter long leveling beam is precisely placed directly at the measuring rods to begin the leveling process. The current position of the leveling beam can be estimated by observing the incline of the ropes from the crane hook. Different types of stones are deposited in layers to create a smooth foundation surface. The concrete blocks are carefully placed to ensure a stable base. A total of 936 concrete blocks are needed for this project in Egypt.
