Southern Right Whale dive - A spectacular natural phenomenon (00015892)
Description: The Southern Right Whale, also known as Eubalaena australis, is a magnificent species belonging to the Balaenidae family. Reaching lengths of up to 18 meters, they inhabit the waters around the South Pole, as well as regions like South Africa, South America, and New Zealand. These majestic creatures feed on krill and other small crustaceans and have been severely depleted due to hunting. Today, only a few of these fascinating whales remain.
