Description: The Cape Grysbok, also known as Raphicerus melanotis, is a small, nocturnal antelope that inhabits the picturesque landscape at the southern tip of the African continent. With an impressive shoulder height of 54 cm and a weight of about 10 kilograms, this species is known for its elegance and beauty. Its reddish-brown fur speckled with white on the upper side and a lighter, unspotted underside make it a captivating sight. The large white ears and the nearly invisible short tail are characteristic features of the Cape Grysbok. These solitary animals live in dense bushes and primarily feed on grasses and herbs.
