Description: The Kelp Gull (Larus dominicanus) is an impressive seagull species known for its size. Its distinctive yellow beak with a red spot on the lower beak makes it unmistakable. This species of gull can take any position in the air and is particularly skilled in flight. They breed on the Antarctic Peninsula and mainly feed on Antarctic limpets. Adult birds have dark eyes and whitish-yellow feet. They are exclusively found in coastal areas.
