Description: The Common bigeye, also known as Priacanthus hamrur, is a striking fish found in small schools under coral overhangs protected from light. At sunset, they venture out to hunt small fish or crustaceans. In the morning, they retreat to their shelters. With their large eyes, they are nocturnal and have excellent night vision for successful hunting.
