Description: The Hartlaub´s gull (Larus hartlaubii) is a beautiful gull species that breeds on Dyer Island on the west coast of South Africa. It shares this habitat with the Swift terns. The food of the Hartlaub´s gull mainly consists of invertebrates and small fish, caught through shock diving.
