Description: The Brown Noddy (Anous stolidus) is a dark-feathered seabird species from the tern family. Larger than the closely related Black Noddy, the Brown Noddy has a tropical distribution across the world's oceans, especially ranging from Hawaii to Australia in the Pacific Ocean. It nests colonially in elevated situations on cliffs or in short trees or shrubs. It occasionally nests on the ground. Each breeding pair lays a single egg each breeding season.
