Description: The Red-footed Booby, also known as Sula sula, inhabits the Midway Atoll on Eastern Island. Approximately 750 pairs breed on this island. These elegant birds are excellent hunters, flying long distances over the sea in search of fish and plunging into the water from great heights. With their bright red feet, blue bills, and black wingtips, they are truly majestic creatures of the sky.
