Description: The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a fascinating big cat known for its incredible speed. This adorable seven-week-old baby cheetah is captured in a playful moment with its tongue out. The photo was taken at a private cheetah breeding station near the Addo Elephant Park. Cheetahs are an endangered species facing habitat loss. This young cub is being raised here with the aim of releasing it back into the wild.
