Description: The King cheetah, scientifically known as Acinonyx jubatus jubatus, is a fascinating big cat native to Africa. This rare specimen exhibits its characteristic behavior of clicking its tongue. The photograph was taken at the Hoedspruit Research & Breeding Centre in the Kapama Private Game Reserve, where cheetahs are cared for and prepared for eventual release into the wild.
