Description: The Cape Buffalo, scientifically known as Syncerus caffer, is an impressive animal that lives in small family groups or large herds. These herbivores also have an interest in browsing on leaves and herbs. Their only natural predators are lions, but hyenas and crocodiles also pose a threat. Although usually peaceful, Cape Buffaloes can become extremely dangerous when cornered or wounded. Witness these majestic creatures slowly approaching the waterhole to quench their thirst.
