Description: The majestic Cape Buffalo (Syncerus caffer) can be found in small family groups or large herds. As grazers, they also have an interest in leaves and herbs. Their only natural predators are lions, but hyenas and crocodiles pose a threat as well. Although usually peaceful, injured or cornered Cape Buffalos can become extremely dangerous.
