Description: The majestic Cape Buffaloes (Syncerus caffer) can be found in small family groups or large herds. As herbivores, they feed on grass, leaves, and herbs. Their only predators are lions, but hyenas and crocodiles also pose a threat to the young buffaloes. Generally peaceful, they can become extremely dangerous when threatened.
