Description: The Buffalo (Syncerus caffer) is an impressive animal that roams the savanna in small family groups or large herds. As herbivores, they also have an interest in leaves and herbs. Their only natural predators are lions, while they also need to be wary of hyenas and crocodiles. Although usually peaceful, injured or cornered Buffalos can become extremely dangerous.
