Description: The Blacktip shark, also known as Carcharhinus limbatus, is a shark species that inhabits tropical and subtropical seas. They can grow up to 2.6 meters in length and are commonly found at depths of up to 30 meters. This image captures a Blacktip shark swimming past a diver. Near Walker's Cay in the Bahamas, these sharks can often be spotted. Due to overfishing, they are now considered a threatened species. Their diet mainly consists of sardines, herrings, mackerels, and other fish.
