Description: The Blacktip Shark (Carcharhinus limbatus) is a remarkable species that inhabits the tropical and subtropical waters near the Bahamas. With an impressive size of up to 2.6 meters and a habitat depth of up to 30 meters, it captivates divers and ocean enthusiasts alike. These images were captured during the thrilling Shark Rodeo near Walker's Cay on the Abaco Islands, where both Caribbean Reef Sharks and Blacktip Sharks can be spotted. Due to overfishing, these fascinating creatures are now classified as threatened shark species. Their diet mainly consists of sardines, herrings, mackerels, and other fish species.
