Description: The whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) is a fascinating inhabitant of tropical seas. With its gray-brown base color and the striking white tips on the 1st dorsal fin and the tail fin, it catches the eyes of all divers. This shark, which reaches a maximum length of about 200 cm, mainly feeds on bone fish living in coral reefs.
