Description: The lush nature of Fiji's tropical rainforest is a true paradise for plant enthusiasts. Here, vines entwine majestic tree trunks, creating an impressive image of harmony with nature. Approximately 40 percent of Fiji's land area is covered with dense rainforest, especially on the rain-rich southeastern side of the island. Here, a variety of plants thrive, including orchids, hibiscus, bamboo, ferns, mangroves, and palms. The rainforest is home to an incredible diversity of life forms and is a place of infinite biological complexity. Climbing plants reach for the sky, giving the forest a mystical aura.
