Description: The Southern Right Whale, also known as Eubalaena australis, is a fascinating marine creature. With an impressive length of up to 18 meters, it belongs to the Balaenidae family. These majestic animals primarily inhabit the waters around the South Pole, but can also be found in areas such as South Africa, South America, and New Zealand. Their main source of food is krill and other small crustaceans. Unfortunately, Southern Right Whales were heavily hunted and are now an endangered species.
