Highly concentrated Warthog

Description: The Common Warthog (Phacochoerus africanus) inhabits the open, arid landscapes of Africa south of the Sahara. These animals are named after the facial warts, more prominent in males. Warthogs generally live in small groups, are herbivores, and mainly feed on grass. Lions, wild dogs, hyenas, and eagles are the main predators of warthogs. In the Cape Province, there used to be a Desert Warthog Phacochoerus aethiopicus aethiopicus, which was extinct by the early 20th century.
