Description: The Bank Cormorants, also known as Kelb gulls, are endemic to the Atlantic side of the southern Cape province in South Africa. They inhabit islands off the coast such as Dyer Island and gather in large flocks to hunt in the sea. The growing population of South African Fur Seals has resulted in the displacement of Bank Cormorants, leading to a decline in their wild populations.
