Description: The Red-footed Booby, also known as Sula sula, is a fascinating seabird that calls the Midway Atoll home. Only about 750 pairs of these beautiful birds breed on the remote Eastern Island. They are skilled hunters, flying far out to sea in search of fish and diving from great heights to catch their prey. With their bright red feet and distinctive blue bill, they are a striking sight.
