Description: The Red-footed Booby, scientifically known as Sula sula, is a fascinating seabird native to Midway Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. These birds predominantly breed on Eastern Island, where approximately 750 pairs reside. Red-footed Boobies are skilled hunters, often flying long distances over the sea in search of fish and diving from great heights into the water. Despite their inappropriate name, these birds with their white feathers, black wingtips, blue bills, and brightly red feet and legs are extremely graceful.
