Description: The Red-footed Booby, scientifically known as Sula sula, is a captivating seabird native to the Midway Atoll. With only about 750 pairs breeding on Eastern Island, these elegant birds are skilled hunters that travel far out to sea in search of fish, often diving from great heights to catch their prey. Sporting bright red legs and feet, a blue bill, and striking black wingtips, they are a stunning sight in the wild.
