Description: The Red-footed Booby, scientifically known as Sula sula, is a captivating seabird native to Midway Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. With only about 750 pairs nesting on the remote Eastern Island, these birds are skilled hunters that venture far out to sea in search of fish, often diving from great heights to catch their prey. Despite their name, Red-footed Boobies are anything but clumsy, showcasing beautiful white plumage, black wingtips, a blue bill, and vibrant red legs and feet.
