Description: The Red-footed Booby, also known as Sula sula, is a striking seabird native to the Midway Atoll. With approximately 750 breeding pairs, mainly found on Eastern Island, they are fascinating hunters that gracefully soar over the sea and plunge from great heights to catch their prey. Their white plumage with distinctive black wingtips, blue bills, and bright red legs and feet make them a true marvel of nature.
