Description: The Blacktip Reef Shark, scientifically known as Carcharhinus melanopterus, is a stunning species of shark native to the waters of Fiji. With a maximum length of 160 cm and a grey-brown base color accented by black tips on all fins and a black margin on the tail fin, this shark is a captivating creature. It prefers the tidal zone and is often found in shallow waters, such as at Shark Reef. Divers are fortunate to witness these majestic beings in their natural habitat.
