Description: The Red-footed Booby, scientifically known as Sula sula, is a fascinating seabird native to the Midway Atoll. Only about 750 pairs of these beautiful birds breed on Eastern Island. They are skilled hunters, flying far out to sea and diving from great heights to catch fish. With their bright red legs and feet, blue bill, and black wingtips, they are a striking presence in the bird kingdom.
