Description: The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) is a seabird native to Midway Atoll. Approximately 750 pairs of these beautiful birds nest on Eastern Island. Red-footed Boobies are skilled hunters, diving from great heights into the ocean to catch fish. Their distinctive features include snow-white plumage, black wingtips, a blue bill, and of course, their bright red legs and feet.
