Description: The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) is an impressive seabird that inhabits the Midway Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Approximately 750 pairs of these birds breed on Eastern Island. Red-footed boobys are skilled hunters, flying long distances in search of fish and diving from great heights into the ocean to catch their prey. With their beautiful white feathers, black wingtips, blue beak, and vibrant red legs and feet, they are truly a sight to behold.
